Saw really high rating on yelp for Malin's so we odered several hoagies for our Super Bowl party. Sandwiches were perfect. Many sides provided. In fact I was passing by today and went back for a Tuna Sandwich for lunch today. (Friday in lent). Really love this place will be back for sure.

Place was bustling as usual on a Friday early afternoon. Got the fresh turkey sub. It was loaded with turkey!! They gave me the wrong sandwich at first but quickly made the change after verifying in the computer. Again, the extra lettuce seemed to be lacking. My friend got the cheesesteak and planned on eating only half. But he ate the whole thing. Yes, that good! This is a great stop in my way to Nj.
Don't let the outside fool you!! Friendly staff with an amazing menu!! Everything was fresh with great selection!! Small cheesesteak sandwich was enough for two if you get chips and a pickle!!! Sandwich was amazing..got onions mushrooms sweets and pickle...only change would be no pickle on the sandwich otherwise a keeper!!! Definitely recommend!!!! If I lived in Newark I would be a regular! Great food and friendly people!!!
Built weird, like most places in Delaware. But it tasted pretty good. If I was eating it at home I would have reassembled it.
This place is a favorite of many of the locals here in Newark Delaware. It's an old style deli that you typically see in the northeast although living in NYC most of my life I always considered Delaware to be a southern state lol. Anyway, I have not been here in a while so I decided to stop in last Thursday for a hero / hoagie, however you want to call it. I went with the hot roast beef medium size with provolone, lettuce, tomato and mayo. It came out quick, it was hot and was delish. I got some Charles Chips on the side and an iced tea. Prices here are reasonable and my order came out quick. There is seating inside and outside although it's limited to a few tables. I believe the cold cuts here are Dietz and Watson since a DW delivery truck was in the lot when I was here. I'm more of a Boars Head fan but the roast beef I got was pretty good. I'll definitely be back.
